Welcome to The Walking Westie.com

Woof, woof! Welcome to my website; the Walking Westie. My name is Hamish and I'm a West Highland Terrier. I now live in Blairgowrie, Perthshire after spending 6 years on The Isle of Skye where most of the listed walks are based. I haven't done any long walks for a while as I suffered from sore joints on Skye but haven't since living in Blairgowrie so am looking forward to getting into Glenshee and beyond and to continue my Munro bagging!!
This website is all about Me and my walks and adventures in Scotland, including my Munro Bagging experiences with Steve (my dad/Slave). You can also check out my getting to know Hamish page with all my personal details - ooo errrr! In time I intend to expand the site to include other doggie info and links.
If you'd like to be kept informed when I add more walks to the site or have any questions or suggestions then e-mail me - Hamish.
So dive in and feast upon the photos and descriptions of my escapades, I've even translated and added some walks for you that dad, (Steve) did without me due to the leg restrictions, ie some scrambling is just beyond my reach - well, have you seen how short my legs are??!

Enjoy!
